I have discovered over the last 10 years the importance of both painting and gardening to my creative fulfilment.
I trained formally through the usual university route at Leeds University in studying Fine Art, and went on then to complete a PGCE in Secondary school teaching at Bretton Hall, Wakefield.
I used these skills to run my own businesses over the years including painting holidays in the Lake District, running a Contemporary Art gallery in Herefordshire, and now dividing my time between work in private gardens and the painting studio.
I was delighted to be involved in establishing a biodynamic garden for a Gloucestershire school over the past few years and working as part of the team from the Cotswold Garden School at Chelsea in 2013.
Working back within the fantastic setting of Gossington Hall where both loves are interwoven is my idea of heaven.
