Emily Sharpe
Emily loves the natural world and studied ecology at university.
In 2010 she registered for an entry-level course in horticulture at Waterperry Gardens and was immediately hooked and within months began planning a career change.
She took the plunge in 2012, leaving her role in IT project management and going on to work at Oxford Botanic Garden.
After gaining further qualifications in horticulture, garden design and planting design from the Royal Horticultural Society and The Cotswold Gardening School, she set up Garden Stories in 2014.
Today she designs gardens inspired by people - helping her clients create their own garden stories.
Emily has won an RHS Silver Gilt medal at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival in the Festival Garden category and this year is building one of the main show gardens there for the Ucare charity.
Emily has also provided Mac tuition for us and we hope to welcome her back soon.
