Lorenzo Soprani Volpini
Lorenzo has established LSV Gardens based in the Cotswolds, working on projects both nationally and internationally from urban courtyards to large country estates.
He graduated from the Oxford College of Garden Design in Residential Landscape Design studying under the tutelage of Duncan Heather, the world renowned landscape designer.
He believes that a garden needs to stimulate, to surprise, and to inspire. More than just a beautiful location, it should be a place in which to relax and meditate. It needs to complement the environment it sits in, working in harmony with its surroundings.
Lorenzo has won an RHS Silver medal and the prestigious ‘Best in Show’ award in the Festival Gardens category at the RHS Malvern Spring Show.
Lorenzo`s Italian background is reflected in his work, combining the architectural rigour, symmetry and structure of Italian garden design with the more fluid, organic approach of the traditional English country garden.
He also holds a National Certificate in Horticulture and is Ten Week Course Director and the main tutor on the ten week courses here at the school.
Lorenzo is an experienced Vectorworks and Sketchup user who also teaches days courses on these subjects.
