Professional Garden Design - graduated 2016

Briony set up her garden design studio Beeā€™s Gardens in 2017 and offers Garden and Planting Design alongside Consultancy in both design and horticulture.  Brionyā€™s love of the natural world and creativity combine to make planting design feel like painting with plants in a three-dimensional way and loves orchestrating her designs to provide bespoke highlights in each garden throughout the year.

 
Since leaving The Cotswold Gardening School Briony has undertaken further studies in Construction Design detailing, CAD Software training and Resilient, Sustainable and Ecological design, these underpin her garden and planting design across all of her projects whether a small pocket garden in an Oxford University College, to larger rural country gardens in the Cotswolds or urban city gardens.

 
Briony has enjoyed creating show gardens both in the UK and abroad, receiving Gold, Best in Category, Best Construction & People's Choice at RHS Flowershow Tatton Park in 2018, Gold Award and Best in Show at Blenheim Palace Flowershow in 2018 and the Grand Award for International Outdoor Gardens & Gold prize for best Garden at the Beijing Horticultural Expo for the UK Government Dept of Trade in 2019, which was open to the public from April to October and received over 9 million visitors.


Briony is passionate about how good horticultural skills are key to keeping each Planting Design thriving with thoughtful and artistic interventions throughout the seasons and also works as a Regional Manager for the WFGA supporting their WRAG Horticultural Trainees locally alongside providing 1:1 training to her design clients and their gardeners in maintaining their newly planted gardens.
