Sarah Fletcher
Sarah grew up in Wales and lived for a time in the Far East. She has always found the beauty of nature to be invigorating and awe inspiring whilst at the same time providing balm for the soul. It was during her years in the Far East that her passion for horticulture began; growing as much as she could on a tiny little balcony. She loves to share this passion through her work and seeks to enrich the lives of her clients by designing beautiful, inspirational yet functional spaces in which to relax and unwind.
Having spent many years in management, but being obsessed with plants, she retrained in 2005 and took the RHS Level 2 Certificate of Horticulture for which she was awarded a distinction. In addition to raising a family, Sarah successfully ran her own garden maintenance and planting company for 12 years and became a volunteer gardener for the National Trust. In 2015 she completed an 8 week course in Professional Planting Design.
In 2017 she graduated from the Cotswold Gardening School with a distinction in Professional Garden Design having studied for the one year diploma. During her time at the school she won the course prize for Best Plant Portfolio and was a competition winner having designed a planting scheme for Wyevale Nurseries HQ in Hereford.
Since graduating she has designed projects in North Somerset, Bristol and Hereford as well as providing consultancy to clients wishing to gain confidence or learn more about caring for their garden.
