Martyn Wilson (Wilson Associates Garden Design) is a multi award winning garden and landscape designer, who designed and won the following: Silver-Gilt RHS Chelsea Flower Show (2023), Gold Medals at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (2017, RHS Malvern Spring Festival (2018) and BBC Gardenersā€™ World Live (2018) amongst many others.
He has designed and built award winning show gardens to support a number of charities including the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Royal Air Force Charities, The RAF Benevolent Fund and The Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
With an MA in Spatial Planning and BSc (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Management, he gained Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, specialising in sustainable drainage and flood risk management, green infrastructure, and climate change.
Drawing on his environmental credentials, Martyn works in partnership with his clients to create spaces that are inspired by and work in harmony with the natural and built environment.
Based in Cheltenham, Martynā€™s design practice works across the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and the rest of the UK. Working with both domestic and commercial clients on varied commissions ranging from Georgian courtyard gardens, to suburban residential gardens to public spaces.
His portfolio includes the design of the Alpine Garden at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, RSPCA Wildlife Rescue Centre in Cheshire and hospice landscapes in Yorkshire, Kent, Birmingham and London.
Martyn is a currently a Pre-registered Member of The Society of Garden Designers and a designer member of the Association of Professional Landscapers.
