Welcome to The Cotswold Gardening School - Gardening Courses & Garden Design Courses
The Cotswold Gardening School now offers a range of professional qualifications in Garden Design, Planting and Horticulture. Students are awarded a Ten Week Diploma for the successful completion of any of our three courses in Garden Design, Planting Design and Horticulture. Each of these three courses also acts as a module of our One Year Diploma Course in Garden Design, Planting and Horticulture. These modules can be studied one after another through the year or taken with breaks between to suit your schedule. With courses running four times a year and one day per week study in class - these courses offer great value and fantastic flexibility.
We also offer another separate One Year Diploma Course in Professional Garden Design. This course concentrates solely on the subject of garden design for the whole academic year and has a more traditional academic structure of three terms starting in September. With a year to focus solely on garden design, this course can go into great depth with visiting lecturers and four live projects for real clients over the academic year. This course is externally assessed and quality checked by Bridgwater College in Somerset. Please come along to our taster mornings on Saturday 11th July, Saturday 8th August or Saturday 29th August 2015 at 10am, for an informal talk, and a chance to have a look at past students' work and a tour of the gardens and grounds at Gossington Hall. The morning starts at 10am. There is no charge for the taster session, but booking is essential.
We are running day courses on Saturdays and offering day courses, morning classes and workshops in floristry and flower arranging.
Additionally half-day gardening workshops are offered, such as Christmas wreath making to help you to unlock your creativity and take something unique home.
Treat someone with one of our lovely luxury gardening gift vouchers, available on all our morning classes, day courses and workshops - proving to be a very popular and appreciated present.

All profits from the gardening school are dedicated to the restoration of our 9 acre garden, featuring an original medieval stew pond. The gardens are currently undergoing major renovation works, a true labour of love, breathing life back into these lost gardens of Gloucestershire.
